Shortly before the November 2010 elections Obama said this in trying to get Latinos to go vote for Democrats:

“If Latinos sit out the election instead of, ‘we’re going to punish our enemies and we’re going to reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us’ — if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s going to be harder….”

Nice of the President, supposedly the President of all Americans, to refer to Americans who disagree with his policies (aka Republicans) as enemies.

Enemies of the State.

Turns out the language may be important, especially under ObamaCare.

California Insurance Code Section 151 bans insurance for enemies: “Any person except a public enemy may be insured.”

This includes health insurance.

So if you’re an enemy of Obama you cannot be insured if you live in California. Other states probably have similar statutes.
